Is it really August already? And is it bad that I'm counting down until intersession? Only 6 weeks to go. I love these new babies but boy am I tired. It's hard to get back into the swing of things. Well, without further ado...
I've always got the TV on in the background while I'm doing work. Since none of my shows are on tonight because Hells Kitchen is over (wah) I'm listening to Cops! haha
.
Loving the fact that this weekend is the NC/SC blogger meet up. I am so flippin' excited for my first meet up and even more excited to be able to meet all the amazing bloggers that I adore!
Thinking/Wanting.. To not be exhausted. 6 and 7 year olds take A LOT of energy especially at the beginning of the year. I do have to admit that even after just 3 weeks they are becoming experts in our routine!
I'm supposed to be getting my kids all set up into Reading A to Z kids so I can teach them how to listen to stories/complete quizzes. I am being such a slacker. In fact, I might not get to it tonight because I'm struggling to keep my eyes open.
My back to school must haves all have to do with strategies to help keep you sane! A plan/ rest/ and patience. All for obvious reasons that I don't need to explain!
And in honor of my 100th post, I am going to give away 1 item of choice from my store to 5 lovely followers. Pop on over to my store & leave a comment with what you'd like; including your e-mail! Hope everyone who is still on break is enjoying and everyone back in school has a wonderful group of kiddos who are treating you well!
Hey Ashley! Came across your blog as you are right behind me for the currently linky party! I love it! I'm a new blogger... and now I'm your newest follower :) I totally agree with your back to school must-haves. I feel like I need to spend the summer building up patience because I run out of it so quickly come September!

Congrats on your hundredth post. I love your Word Work packet in your store.
ReplyDeleteI'm also jealous that you get to attend the meetup. I got excited when I saw we were having one and then I realized I already had plans! Hopefully it goes well and there will be another. ;-)
Have a great time at the meetup!
